### Internship

An Internship at Blank Labs offers a short-term opportunity ranging from 3 to 6 months. This program is designed to accommodate individuals from all walks of life, regardless of student status. An Intern will have the flexibility to work part time or full time ranging from 15 - 40 hours a week.

### Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship at Blank Labs is a profound commitment designed for a flexible, long-term engagement spanning from 1 to 36 months. This unique opportunity is exclusively tailored for **students** currently enrolled in college or diligently preparing for their next entrance exam. The core objective of our apprenticeship program is to empower students to continue their education unimpeded, supported by a stipend, while simultaneously offering them invaluable industry experience and immersive learning.

An Apprentice will have the flexibility to work part time or full time ranging from 15 - 40 hours a week. You can choose to work remotely or onsite

### Full time

If you're eager to join Blank Labs on a full-time basis, we welcome your interest!

However, to ensure a beneficial fit for both you and our team, prospective full-time members should meet **at least one** of the following eligibility criteria:

1. Successfully complete at least one internship at Blank Labs.
2. Apprenticeship with Blank Labs for a minimum of 3 months.
3. Make meaningful contributions to any of [Blank Labs' open-source projects](https://gitlab.com/blanklabs) or any of the [listed Open source projects](/blank/appendix.md#listed-open-source-projects).

## Location

1. If Intern → choice of onsite or remote
2. If new full timer → mandatory onsite for first 6 - 12 months (exception of ECS)
3. If Veteran → choice of onsite or remote

**Essential Remote situation (ECS)**

Situations where remote work can be requested by the employee regardless of mandatory requirement of onsite.

1. Family situations → Raising children etc.
2. Offbeat lifestyle → Living on wheels etc.
3. Physical body mobility limitations
4. Attending College

**Definitions**

1. Onsite → Onsite means working from HQ or from a regional office location. Regional office is a co-working location where a group of Blank employees work together at that particular co-working location. Regional co-working locations can be in multiple cities or towns.
2. HQ → the headquarters of Blank.
3. Remote → Remote can be work from home or work from nearest co-working space. Blank will sponsor the co-working space for the employee if the employee chose to work from nearest co-working location to their home. Working from a nearest co-working location is recommended by Blank Labs if such location is accessible.

Blank is incorporated and is based in Hyderabad, India. Even though Blank has a shared co working space in Hyderabad, Blank is a virtual first, shared resource enabled, global decentralized organization.
