# Challenges & limitations

We have identified the below challenges for practical implementation of SOFT and we are working on improving the framework to address these challenges.

* Competition with venture-backed companies for talent and market share
* Challenges securing initial root fund
* Specific mechanisms for ensuring accountability and transparency
* Conflict resolution mechanisms between different stakeholder groups

## Limitations

This framework is not feasible for technology development that requires significant capital investment.
